Institutional Challenge & Strategic Context

Kenya's maritime and inland blue economy potential remains significantly underutilized due to fragmented spatial planning, insufficient port and vessel infrastructure, and limited economic pre-feasibility analysis. Developing large-scale maritime projects requires evaluating complex hydrographic data, environmental impact, trade route viability, and multi-billion-shilling capital outlays while demonstrating positive Economic Internal Rates of Return (EIRR) to international development partners.

Our Multidisciplinary Advisory Approach

In April 2026, StrataPoint participated in a landmark technical project development workshop convened between the Directorate of Public Investment Management (National Treasury) and the State Department for Shipping and Maritime Affairs. Our team led the preparation of investment-ready Pre-Feasibility Study reports, integrating financial modeling, socio-economic Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), risk matrices, and spatial policy alignment under Kenya's PIM Framework.
